Thank you for visiting our Internet site!

We are a family owned and operated restaurant that has been serving the community for over thirty years. Our pizza and bread doughs are made from scratch and we always use quality ingredients. People come from all around to enjoy our yeast risen deep-dish pizza, loaded with their favorite ingredients, slathered in our signature white cheddar cheese, then baked to a crispy golden brown.

Some enter our store not knowing that the word "grinder" is one of many regional name variations for the submarine sandwich. Our usage of this less utilized Southern variation comes from the New England origins of Mata's Greek Pizza. Like in eastern Massachusetts, we take our famous fluffy bread, slice it down the middle, stuff it overflowing with savory ingredients, then placed in the pizza oven until it's baked to a moist and delicious crisp.

Our other items include Greek salads, made with fresh lettuce, carrots, red cabbage, red onions, radishes, green bell peppers, cucumbers, and tomatoes topped with feta cheese and black olives, which can be enjoyed with your choice of dressing or our famous House Dressing, made of Mata's unique blend of herbs and spices, mixed in a base of olive oil and red wine vinegar.

Then there is our delicious oven-baked spaghetti with meat sauce or meatballs, covered in our signature melted shredded white cheddar.

You might also enjoy a gyro, which is a Greek specialty consisting of gyro lamb/beef meat strips on a grilled pita bread, topped with crisp lettuce, onions and tomatoes, served with a tangy Greek yogurt cucumber sauce.

If you are craving something sweet and unique for dessert you'll definitely enjoy our Baklava, which is a Greek pastry made of flaky layers of delicate filo dough, filled with chopped walnuts, and sweetened with a light honey syrup.
